This was the first MOC entry we submitted and it took us a month to conceptualize and build it. The theme was Doorways and the main idea was to make several sub-builds that were connected to a central tower by paired portals. This way, the twins and I could work together on separate modules before we tie them up at the end.

This project was our biggest of 2024 and had many play features and Easter eggs. I woke up very early on the day of the event to finish greebling, and I was so excited that I arrived before the venue opened. Being early was good for us since the display had details at every viewing angle and we wanted a corner spot so that viewers could appreciate them.

It was a pretty exhausting build and by the time we finished, we had five unique modules:

1. Time Wizard’s Tower
2. Lava Mines
3. Bruni’s Forest and Mushroom Nursery
4. Nya’s Waterfall
5. Desert Well and Sandworm

It was a great first experience for us, and the boys were very happy with the praise and encouragement we got from the bricking community. We would definitely join the next two display competitions in October about Dreams and Nightmares!
